    Hi,

I've applied to a number of Universities to do MA Social Work but Wolverhampton is my first choice. I got an email today saying I've been invited to do a Comprehension Test in a couple of months and that if I'm successful with that I'll have an interview in the afternoon.

Is anyone else in the same boat as me or has anyone already done their test and/or interview? I'd love to know what to expect.
I've found some older threads on here saying you'll get an article and have to answer questions on it but that was from 2011 and I've seen people say they had a regular interview and some say they had a panel interview, so I'm hoping for some more recent information so I can prepare myself.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hiya,
I went to the interview last month and struggled to find information for it beforehand too! It was a nice day, they try to make you feel as relaxed as possible. We had a test in the morning which were a set of answers and what the lecturer said was that he just wanted to explore our attitudes and thoughts and how they relate to that of a social worker etc. They were also looking at writing styles. We also had a group activity where we discussed a case study for 30 mins. We had break and were then called to an interview with 2 interviewers. The questions were fairly simple and aslong as you know what social work involves and have the right attitude and motivations you will be fine.

    Thanks
