    Hi everyone,

Looking for some advice. I'm doing well in my History A-level, and Art A-level, however I'm really behind in English. I try in lessons, however when it comes to writing essays I can't reach above a C or B. Does anyone have any tips? My exam board is AQA English lit B - studying The Handmaid's Tale, The Kite Runner, and Death of a Salesman.
Also, does anyone know how to find practice essays? The AQA website only has one mock exam paper, so I'm lost on how to practice at home - also with marking, should I give my essays to my teachers or is there a better way? I feel that they're disinterested in bettering my essay writing ability, and are instead focusing on knowledge of the text.

    Thank you in advance,
    Charlotte

In order to get above a B or C you should do lots of essay practice for English and also use textbooks for your course, as they help you to structure your answers and help you to understand what you need to include in your writing. Practice makes perfect 😀
