Aye, we should be proud of our monarchy and it's history, and the national anthem should be reflective of that.

Aye!- While clearly a sign that we are not set to become a republic anytime soon (long time?) it is a more recognizable song, with the queen (whether good or bad) ultimately being a symbol of what it is to be British.

'God save the queen' is boring and dull.

Land of Hope and Glory is where it's at. Definitely rousing and worthy.

Nay. England/Britain needs a good anthem, GStQ is not only shite, it's dull as shite when compared with La Marseillaise.

Are you on your next monarch yet? Surely she's dead? Maybe she has a body double like Castro.

Also, what the hell is that image?

Much better idea for a national anthem, I agree.

I Vow To Thee My Country is a powerful anthem and I just wish in could be our anthem in real life.

No, I'd be open to it returning as royal anthem but from the position of the status quo I Vow To Thee My Country is a vastly better song.

As long as it's this version then 100% aye, otherwise no. It's dull and celebrates inherited power by an elite who can not be held to account, yet enjoy greater access to the Government/Parliament than any ordinary citizen or even many backbenchers.
