Has anyone completed a test here? If so, how was it ? Difficult? How were the examiners? Ive got my second test booked in here having done one before in Barnet. Ive had to book the test at Burgess Hill due to moving away for Uni. Any anecdotes would be appreciated.

I did my test there (motorbike, but it's the same roads ). Main things to watch out for are the various double roundabouts in the area, make sure to use the correct lanes (watch the local traffic and signage), if you get into the wrong lane either shoulder check and move, or just take a wrong turn - examiners can't fail you just for going the wrong way so long as you do so safely. Here are the main three you should memorise:

    https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@50.99...1121145,19.09z

A couple of test routes will take you past a low clearance bridge, so watch your positioning there. There's also some very narrow streets and a four-way mini roundabout in Ditchling, which can be finicky in a car: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@50.92...1142925,16.69z

That's all I can really think of. Other than that just watch out for speed limit changes, and if you end up on the dual carriageway just stick to the left lane. Good luck.

PS. The examiners are partial to Galaxy Minstrels, though I wouldn't stake a test pass on that alone. :p:

Thanks , had a lesson today where we went through a bunch of roundabouts including the 3 double ones. Did some driving in ditchling too. Not long left until the test.
