Hi, I'm considering dropping one of my GCSES (business). I'm in Year 11, and questioning if it's even worth dropping it now? I'm not terrible at it but I genuinely hate the subject and was wondering if it would be beneficial for me to drop it and concentrate getting higher grades in my other subjects?

How many are you doing? 10-12 is standard, so if you're doing 10 or less now, you can't really afford it, unless you swap it for another subject.

If you genuinely feel that business studies is hindering your progress in other subjects significantly, then it's definitely worth dropping. A mediocre grade and bad grades is worse than a bunch of fairly decent grades. It's very situational but my advice would be to evaluate how much you could improve your other subjects if you dropped business studies and make a decision from there
