By coursework, do you mean your writing, or your writing and Speaking, because technically, speaking isn't coursework. If you mean you got a middle B in both Writing and Speaking, you would need very high As (one mark of A*) in both listening and reading, but if you got low B, you would need A*s in both, or if you got a high B, you would need less high As in both

Now I'm confused lol, I've got a low A (26) a low B in(22) in writing and I've got (24) a B in speaking, and I have one module left but to get an A overall in my coursework (speaking+writing?) I need 30/30 which won't happen. I think I need high A's...thx for ur help! (I'm doing AQA btw)

Firstly, don't count on the marks you think you've got for the controlled assessment - the speaking marks may change on moderation and the writing is only your teacher's best guess - the actual mark will be awarded by the exam board and may well be very different.

The speaking and the writing are each worth 30% of the GCSE, with each of the exams being worth 20%. If you get a mid B overall on the CA then you'd need a high A overall on the exams to scrape an A overall, but honestly, your CA marks almost certainly won't be what you think so there's not much point planning on this too seriously.
