    I'm so sorry
This is like my 600000th time asking the same question and you guys have responded so well but you guys never gave me a good reason why. I want to become a child nurse pracitioner one day and obviously a child nurse for a while first. I want to pick subjects that won't only help me uni degree but help me in my job. Health and social care I think is absolutely perfect for nursing. So I'm definitely picking that. But I'm not sure if I should pick biology and psychology? It'll definitely help with uni but will it help me as a nurse?

Personally I think Biology would be better as Psychology is a branch of nursing in itself. Biology covers pathology, inherited and infectious disease, the bodies systems, general anatomy and physiology etc. I found it really interesting. In terms of applying for children's nursing it shows that you have a interest in the sciences biology in particular and demonstrates that you have a satisfactory understanding of organic development, health etc.

    Hey

HSC is good if you want to study child nursing in uni. Just to let you know biology and psychology is also in the HSC course so I dont think you will need to take separate subjects. But feel free as this is just my opinion
