The form we got from the student loans company...

If, on the Finance part of the Student Information page, you see "No LEA Assessment Received" even if you have posted it, don't panic! I e-mailed them and got this reply:

Dear Simon,

We have received your Financial Notification. The message you are reading below is
due to a system error.

This is annoying! I haven't had the notification or the schedule yet and it also says they sent me an interest statement 6 days ago and that hasn't turned up either! :frown:

Any now their websites down... :hmmm:

Thank god im not the only one. It says that the letter was sent on the 15th, but no reply yet.

So when did people get their finance notification letters? I think I remember my sister getting it a couple of weeks ago and then a few days later the payment schedule.

They were only just sent out right? I haven't lost it or anything have I?

Turns out I did get the finance notification letter *ages* ago.
It had the bit I had to sign and send back off but I was at uni so my parents were keeping it until I got back. Then I got sent a reminder, so they sent that to me and I signed it and sent it off... and they threw away the first letter.

I am screwed. :frown:

If only the copy of the letter online would load then I could print it off. I can get last years to load, but that's not going to help me now.

I'm not sure if I've received the financial notification 07/08 although I dont think I have yet, and also I know I havent received anything about tuition fees and payment schedule. I have only ever received 3 letters- two of which were internet login info and the 3rd letter had 2 pages in: I will scan in these pages and can someone tell me if either of these is the financial notification that I have to send/email to warwick uni?

edit- after seeing someones pic of financial notification I realised I havent been sent it, so I will phone them for it or possibly login to the site and try to see it, although the phones arent working and nor is the site login at the moment lol. Guess I'll try at the weekend

If youve received those the financial notification should have arrived ages ago, those are jsut the payment schedule ones, no?

Yeh, financial notification has letters with the logo of your LEA (council) with it, and sometimes an additional contract. If you haven't recieved this, like I hadn't (due to a technical error with early online applications), phone up your LEA using the number from the slc website and ask them to request a new one. Alternatively, login on the site and click "view correspondance", this is a quite useful feature I found the other day as it allows you to view/print all letters and see if they have been sent. Although, dont know if warwick will accept print-offs.

Yeah can I just reemphasise that the thing you are sending looks like THIS and possibly may be retrievable ONLINE if you havent recieved it physically . Scan and email it as soon as you get it.

My current finance page looks like THIS.

Really? I thought that when we enroll physically at Warwick the Uni sends the SLC a note to say we actually arrived and are there and 3 days later our money comes through. And that was it....Fairly sure they dont send money till they get confirmation we are actually at uni. Ergo how could they have a payment schedule drawn up already?

You do not. I did not the last two years and I got my loan fine. I just sent the notification.

Okay so can somebody tell me what we do with this payment schedule letter? This is so ****ing difficult to understand!

Take it to registration with you (the day you arrive). No need to send it anywhere. Some people say you dont even need it for registration but some say you do, so it wont harm you to take it with you.

Assuming that you've sent a copy of your payment notification (the barcoded one) to Warwick, then yes, you just take the payment schedule on registration when you arrive (that one that says 'take this to registration' to registration,) - As far as I know, Warwick havent actually asked for them on registration, but since it says it, in big, red, threatening writing then its best to be safe.
