    I went to a photo shoot last year June still haven't paid for my pictures but when I was there they said they was interested me but I have to pay for my pictures just wondering do I have to pay for them Because I'm reading so many different things about not paying if there interested in you . So where do I stand

    It's just a photography service. If you want the photos, you pay for them. If you don't want them, don't pay for them. Don't pay unless they show you an example, so you know you'll be getting something decent.

    The thing where they pretend to have interest from an agency, is just a lie to pressure you into paying. Agencies scout and recruit directly - they don't take referrals from photographers. If you thought this was a way into e.g. modelling, then I'm afraid you've fallen for a scam.

    If you have money to spend on a professional photographic portfolio, spend it on a known quality service that you can control. Contact a few modelling agencies (or th type of service you're aiming for) and get recommendations. See if they accept unsolicited portfolios before investing your money.
