    Hi guys,

Has anyone ever missed a school experience day?. i was called into work unexpectedly on the day of my experience day so i had to miss it and let them know late. I was wondering if this could stop me getting on a teaching course in the future as the get into teaching email says failure to notify them can affect applications for initial teacer training?. does anyone know if this will stop me getting a teaching job anywhere ?.

If you let them know then fair dos. But seriously, you went into work on a day you had booked off????

You are going to have to be tougher than that if you want to be a teacher!

Do not worry, my school experience CANCELLED my appointment without telling me. Turned up at school to be told to go away. Wont be using that route int o teaching! Enjoy your days: anybody asks just say your are totally focused on your work and cannot let down you team. Music to the ears of a potential employer (vs one you ALREADY have).

    Rack up some more days!
