I am not suicidal so don't start to think that way, I do however feel my life isn't full enough. I struggle with social situations in the respect that I have mild social anxiety. I have few friends which doesn't concern me much but however I want a girlfriend and the thought occurs however ridiculous it may be, I worry about not being able to find a girlfriend. Any advice, or personal experiences?

I used to have no social life, struggle with school etc just like that.

What you need to do is keep yourself busy with something. A good balance of school and another thing. But let me tell you from experience, a girlfriend is a huge time-taker and will require loads of attention, effort and time. My studies have struggled because of this but I am taking it all in moderation. Honestly ask yourself, do you have the time and patience for a girlfriend.
Try to be in a positive attitude around other people, and always try to insert yourself into their group of conversation. By entering enough circles of friends you'll be sure to meet new people. Parties and social gatherings are the best way to meet people, and I'm sure if you spend enough time socializing you'll find a girl you'll like. I have friends in your situation and what I do to help them is invite them along to my outgoings.
