Hi - I'm not a student but a mum of a past student. I couldnt see a specific place to advertise books so I apologise if this is not the right place. I am reorganising her room and there are some engineering books she does not want anymore. Are they any good to other students? Apparently two of them are specific to the University of Hertfordshire as they are written by the tutor, but the others are general engineering books. They are:

Coulson and Richardson's Chemical Engineering Volume 2 - 5th edition
    Engineering mechanics volume 1 - Statics - Meriam/Kraige - 3rd edition
Aerospace, Automotive and Electronics Business Elements - Susan Murray
Introduction to Materials Science for Engineers and
Supplementary Texts to accompany this book - Shackleford.

I dont want any money for them - just whatever the postage costs. It seems a shame to bin them. Thanks for your time.

    Hi Caryn,

This is a very kind thing to do - I've moved this over to Engineering for you - hopefully there will be some interest.

Just tagging Smack so they're aware of this thread. :yy:

Thanks for this, hopefully this will be of use to some students here.

It'd definitely be a shame to bin them, so perhaps if someone here isn't able to provide a home for them, it'd be worthwhile putting them on something like Gumtree?

Thank you for moving this to the correct place. I know it is the wrong time of year really as students probably already have their books, but maybe I can do someone a good turn. We will definitely try advertising them somewhere else if no takers.
