I am not suicidal so don't start to think that way, I do however feel my life isn't full enough. I struggle with social situations in the respect that I have mild social anxiety. I have few friends which doesn't concern me much but however I want a girlfriend and the thought occurs however ridiculous it may be, I worry about not being able to find a girlfriend. Any advice, or personal experiences?

Get over yourself, live your life and don't expect to find someone within five seconds of thinking about it? Go to work, go food shopping, socialise, have fun, lead a normal life.

I think it's normal to worry about the future to some extent, but it's not health to dwell on things all the time. If you keep thinking about the future you will never be able to fully enjoy the present. In my experience if you are comfortable in yourself and your life things will fall into place a lot better than if you're constantly with thoughts. You can never know what is going to lead you where so just do what makes you happy and eventually you will get where you need to be.

Since you've already mentioned that you have some level of anxiety it may also help you to look into how you can understand and manage that better. I think maybe you're overthinking life a bit because of some anxiety or other issues you might have. If you can sort that out you might find that these worries you have aren't such an issue any more.

You might want to check out mind.org and sane.org for some info and advice and maybe see a doctor or therapist or somebody along those lines. Sometimes you know what you need to do but need a bit of support getting there. Don't be afraid or embarrassed to ask for some support if you think it will help you.
