    Have already been accepted into Economics & Finance courses, but the more I think about it, the more I am veering towards switching to pure economics Or finance. I think that by doing only half of each, I am not really specialising in either of them and this is less impressive. Would I be right or wrong in thinking this?

    No, joint hons degrees are not sub par. Having an economics and finance degree will not limit your career options, and employers won't think you lack specialist knowledge.
