    Hi all,

I want to get a third job but unfortunately if I take it with the hours that are specified at minimum wage, I will go over my tax bracket and will have to pay more.

Is it possible for me to negotiate a pay that is less than minimum wage? Surely if I am happy to take less than minimum and that is specified in a contract then there is nothing wrong with that? I am not being scammed out of pay by the employer.

You will only pay more on the element that is over the limit, not the whole lot, so it would still be worth more to you to earn more.

Why dont you just work fewer hours? HMTC will enforce min wage. You shouldnt end uo wprse off even if part of your salary strays into the next tax bracket.
