Superlambanana cloud formation seen over Liverpool

Don't know if you remember the Superlambananas, but the first was located at the Albert Dock before being relocated to Liverpool John Moores University (my brother could see it from his bedroom window) and in 2008 for capital of culture lots of painted replicas sprung up around Liverpool city centre and remain a symbol of the city - you can buy a miniature one in Liverpool One and most of the museums.

But May Powell in Bootle spotted one in the sky, and submitted it to the Liverpool Echo. Brilliant!

There was a technical issue, and it veered off course towards the USA before self destructing.
