I was recently received an offer from Loughborough to study Computer Science. I also received an invitation to a visit day. Loughborough is going to be my firm choice so i really want to attend it.

I have two question about the visit.

Question one: Do i get any travel expenses from the University? I live in London and cost a ton to travel up there. I was just wondering (Not required but would be great if i had some help) I will still attend it either way.

Question two: Will i be able to bring a friend with me? My friend isn't interested in the course in any way but its better for me to travel with another person. Will be be allowed to tour with me?

    Thanks!

    Hi HaoVersion2

Congrats on your offer. In answer to your questions, no we don't pay travel expenses and yes you can bring a friend. You would need to contact Comp Sci directly to ask about the format of the day. Some tend to split parents/carers and students however, if you ask them the question if your friend can stay with you all day, it should be OK.
    You can e-mail [email protected]
    Hope this helps
