Basically i left sixth form in july with CUU at a level, i know this is not good enough to get into uni so i didnt bother applying and have worked at a pub ever since.

Basically i know dissertations arent for me, i failed most of my exams because the writing extended amounts was just too much and i confused myself, i would love to get a degree but i dont see how i could go without finding a course that doesn't require dissertations- is this possible or do they not exist?

I know ill have to get better grades before a uni will accept me but this is more me just researching to see what i can do.

Even if you do find a degree without a dissertation, you'll have to write lots of essays. And essays at degree level are much longer than A Level - most essays are around 2000 words, maybe more. Uni exams are often 3 hours, and they're long answer questions rather than the one sentence questions you get at A Level.

So instead of seeking to avoid your weakness, you need to improve it. You will not be able to get through a whole degree if you think that A Level exams were too much writing.
