Does anyone have any suggestions for a paid or opensource PDF programme that I can use to scan (out of copyright) books?

I was using the Soda PDF creator trial and I would have bought it had I not had a bad experience with the customer services.

    I have Windows 10 and a Brother DCP-L25000.

I would have thought your scanner driver would have included a scan to PDF function. My Epson one does.
