Minimum age to join societies?

Hi there!
I got a place at king's college but since I will still be 17 in September I was wondering:
Is there a minimum age requirement to join societies ?

I don't think so, as long as you are registered under that uni. The problem may be if your society organises an event at a club, then you wouldn't be able to go in.

Okay thanks;
because I received on email from another uni (goldsmiths) where it is said that students under 18 may not be able to join societies...
