Should I be worried about almost passing out? Watch

    Hello!

So, I'm an otherwise healthy 17 year old who is currently struggling with taking baths and not almost fainting ahaha
Okay, so this all started towards the beginning of 2015 - I'd be in my bath, then either have to stand up to get something/ wash myself and then (quite literally) just suddenly almost pass out.
Recently, however, my heart rate will race, then slow down to some ridiculously slow rate, and then speed back up again - which would leave me clinging onto what was left of my conscious mind.
Yesterday, the above happened: I was in my bath and it wasn't warm, at all! I started feeling sick so made my way to the toilet, where I found that my heart rate had leaped up, then dropped so suddenly and then rose back again. I felt very dizzy, lightheaded, sick, struggled to stand and couldn't see/ hear much (apart from a loud ringing).
This was probably the scariest of them all, BECAUSE I could feel my heart go from racing to almost stopping...literally! Of course, it didn't stop, BUT it got down to a speed that I was very uncomfortable with it being at.

I am aware that the heat, standing up quick and other factors, such as dehydration can be an issue.
But do you think I should worry or just quit? Or even consider going to a GP?

    Thanks for your time!!!

Ya you know the same thing happens to me actually :/
Also when I get up from sitting/ lying down I almost pass out and it`s really annoying especially in the bath.
I also have a milder version of the heart racing you mentioned but it only happens rarely. Tbh my mum`s concerned so I try not to tell her all the time when it happens but I myself am not concerned that much. I don`t think I`ll be seeing a doc about it either but there`s no harm in you getting yourself tested out.

Could be low blood pressure ~~

Think of any other times it may happen, things that seem related, how it feels when it happens, if you get any other odd symptoms ever. Write that stuff down and go see a doctor. That sounds too severe to be anything normal- maybe being a bit dizzy getting out of a bath or something but not something this intense.
Anyway a doctor can work out potential causes, run tests and treat it so go see one. This is definitely something you see a doctor for.

    Go. Now. Please.

Anything heart/ blood pressure/ chest pain related is a big deal. Make use of your local GP. It's what they're there for.

Don't be too worried though. Hopefully everything works out okay

Happened to me before, but in my case it was because of the low oxygen supply. Felt the same. I hope it's nothing serious as well!
