everybody I've spoken to seems to think it will be a war and conflict poem, however i thought it could be "living space" which would probably be asked as a comparison to London with the theme 'place' x
I think AQA would want an easier question with more generalised themes such as power or nature or memory to ensure everyone can answer the question well. Most likely the given poems would be short so you are forced to compare it with another poem to produce the "best scores". Be prepared for ozymandias, london, war photographer and shorter poems like that. If its not those... thats kinda good because at least you know some poems thoroughly enough!

    Best of luck to everyone!

My teacher thinks it will be a general poem such as a poem based on nature ( I'm doing power and conflict ) and my teacher thinks it'll be based on the power of nature. I'm going to learn every poem inside out to make sure I'm 100% prepared though because there's no guarantee as to what will come up. Good luck everyone!

I think its easier in the sense that you can easily pick up marks for the slightest bit of working out. There are way more marks awarded for working out in OCR - well at least thats what my teachers are telling me!
well u need to show alot of working out in ocr, and there are also SUVAT equations in ocr newtons motion laws or something which i don;t think are in any of the other papers

I'm pretty sure AQA released a specimen paper for this new spec and the question was on power of nature, so i doubt that will come up, but you never know

i know, it's way too much😭😭 we didn't get a choice though at our school

We had to do science, english, maths, philosophy&ethics and then 1 foreign language

Then we got to pick either history or geography
