Have you had your papers back to see where you're going wrong? A girl I knew at school lost a lot of marks because she wasn't interpreting questions properly and wasn't writing in the way that they wanted (i.e. using 'buzzwords' that they use to mark it). The best thing to do is practice past papers and get some help from your teachers as they should be able to pinpoint where you are going wrong. It may also be a case of poor revision technique, but it's hard to tell knowing nothing about you, the way you revise, or the way you do your exams.
