It's often struck me as a bit odd that, on the "can you get a blue in it?" scale, ballroom dancing is a sport, but, say, mountaineering isn't.

Clubs and Societies:

Where did you find that list and what's with the date after them? That implies that Out of the Blue became a society in TT07 which is definitely not correct, as I know it has been a proctor approved University group for many more years!

^that's the date of the most recent regestration, to give you an idea of when the society was last active, i assume, rather than when it was founded.

Sigh, why do I hear hardly any mention of Squash. Finally found the squash site ('squash racquets', wtf?) nobody really seems to play any games! Please tell me somebody here is an active squash member.

There are plenty of colleges which have their own squash courts- plenty of people play.
