I have to do a criminal records check when applying to my degree of choice.

I'm confused as to whether I should include my current student address as a place I have lived as its only a term time address? I've lived with my parents for 10 years except the last 4 that I've been a student, but the term time address isn't a permanent address. So should I include each term or not as I have to fill in a separate form for every single address. Its made more complicated by the fact that my term address is in scotland and home in england so the criminal records checks are done by separate awarding bodies. I already had a PVG check recently which was done on my term time address because I was teaching as well as studying...

Can anyone tell me if my term address counts, or point my in the right direction of somewhere that can tell me...

You should not need to apply to two bodies. The datasets they hold are the same.

As only Disclosure Scotland offers a report to the subject of the enquiry (their Basic Disclosure) whilst the DBS will only provide one to registered users, thousands of people who have never set foot in Scotland obtain Disclosure Scotland reports each year.

I doubt it would, as any criminal convictions gained while studying would be placed under your home address anyway. Don't take my word for it though, I'm not sure. Probably best to get in touch with them first.
