I've changed my mind about the universities I want to apply to. I want to change one (which hasn't yet given an offer), to another one. Is this possible?

    Thanks.

How long ago did you receive your welcome email? You can only change if it was two weeks ago or less, and you have to contact UCAS by telephone if it was over a week ago.

If I went through clearing, how would I know if the university I wanted to go to had clearing places?

Why are you desperate to go to this uni which you didn't include in your original 5 choices?

I think even with the 14 days, you'd still be cosindersd as a late applicant. Your only choice is waiting till clearing opens and you can ask the university if they do clearing and have a look online for previous years. But 1) you're past the applications deadline 2) it's past the 14 days

By asking them (by telephone, usually).

You cannot substitute choices after the 14 days have passed.

Your only option would be to decline any offers/withdraw from all 5 of your choices and apply through UCAS Extra when it opens in March.
