Hi, I'm Evie, a 6th form year 12 student at Bristol! I started this blog to track my progress, share tips and, hey, who doesn't want to win a Macbook ;0
At GCSE i got 4 a* and 6 a so my predicted grades might not sound like much of a chllenge. However, I have issues with stress and anxiety, which i relive with procrastination- not condusive to a great work ethic! Also, I started 6th form at a boarding school but really didn't get on there so 8 weeks in to a levels, i changed 6th form and two subjects!!! (crazy huh...)
I'm studing religious studies, goverment and politics, and geography- three massively content heavy subjects, so content revision is gonna be kinda important! I'm aiming for AAA, but for once in my life i want to beat my good-at-everything twin and secretly aimin for A*A*A.
So far, i've got 1 mark off an A in my unit 2 politics mock, got 86% in my geography mock and all of my RS essays have been aB- so i've got a little way to go, especially catching up everything i've missed so I can do well in my mock and politics AS.
The ultimate goal is to work for the Foreign Commonwealth Office or be ehad of an international humanitarian NGO, so the bars set pretty high. I'm thinking of applying to warwick, york and exter to study international relations. (I've heard St Andrews is unbeatable for IR, but i don't thin i'll quite cut it-who knows?)
So yeah, follow me as i 8hopefully* blo my way to stellar grades and unievrsity!
