195 million year old dinosaur bones contain preserved protein watch

    I thought this story was interesting: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-38810065

    The article write up seems to not really understand what is going on, but from what I gather, a 195 million year old fossil has been found to contain some proteins in tact that don't normally survive the fossilisation process.

    What it means is that we'll learn more about dinosaurs from this discovery as the proteins tell us more about the animal.
