I have attempted this question and got 0.6g as the answer whereas the answer is 2.4g. Is 0.6 not correct as it is asking for the mass extracted and not the mass remaining?

    Question:

The partition coefficient, Kd, of an organic compound X between ether and water is 20.0. An aqueous solution of X containing 3.0g in 250cm^3 of solution was subject to solvent extraction. What mass of X was extracted on shaking with 50cm^3 of ether?

    Thanks
