    Hi guys.

I applied for Business Management at Brunel University. I just got rejected.

I took a year off as the 2015/2016 year didnt go so well for me and i took a year off to set things straight.

I already met the grades. As i finished BTEC business with a D*D*D and their requirements are DDD. With a 5 GCSE Including C in maths and english. Which i already met.

Is there a reason it got rejected?

Edit 1: Went to their evision website saying "current academic results/ experiences doesnt meet the requirements for the course".

    Sorry to hear that

Phone them up and ask, it might have been your personal statement.

I'll call them up in the morning. Office is closed now. Just a bit upset.

Yeah I can definitely understand that (also have a rejection from a uni)
Maybe take another year off if you really want to go to Brunel?

It sounds like it might be a mistake. Ring tomorrow to make sure that all of your qualifications were filled in correctly and considered and if they were to ask which qualifications they would be looking for.

    Hi Saylih,

I'm sorry to hear you weren't successful in your application to Brunel. From the information you've given here, it does sound like you met the academic requirements for entry onto BSc Business and Management.

It's not possible to tell without Admissions taking another look at your application, so please give them a call on 01895 265265 and have your UCAS number to hand. They will either be able to reassess your application or explain to you why you weren't offered a place.

Hope to hear from you soon!
