I want to study Medicine and I'm only at AS level at the moment and I've already started researching my unis and comparing them but everyone thinks I'm crazy to be thinking about uni now! Am I being "too prepared"?

No. You are not crazy to think about University now. I had university on my mind in the first couple of months of college. There is nothing wrong with researching. Go ahead, you'll only make life easier for when you have to pick universities.

You can never be too early or prepared, especially with the 15th October deadline!

Nope you can never be too prepared! Anyone considering law, medicine or oxbridge in general should be starting to look into things now. It's important because you'll be starting university applications as soon as you go back to college after the summer, and doing entrance exams, so it's worth thinking about it!

Not really. It helps to decide where you might want to go for open day but that's really it for now.

You can't exactly pick and choose until you get your AS grades and relevant entry exam results (UKCAT/BMAT).

    So focus on those.
