Economics Graduate Placements – Home Office Science - Civil Service Watch

    Has anyone had the Economics Graduate Placements, 1 year Fixed Term – Home Office Science interview

    1. What type of Economic questions will be asked
    2. How was the numerical/maths test?
    3. How was the data interpretation presentation task?

    no need to panic its not that hard. Basic economics questions most 1st year undergraduate can answer imo (tip- make sure you look at the affects of immigration on the economy).

    The maths tests are basic 1st/2nd year AC,TR,TC equations and simple derivatives.
    Data presentation was the easiest out off the tests- pretty basic stuff.

    Also obviously competency questions are asked-make sure you have two examples for each and you know and explain them thoroughly (you can take cue cards if you want).
