Several years ago the Daily Mail published an article claiming that 1 in 10 kids can't ride a bike but made no mention of Asperger syndrome

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...strangers.html

Is it true that kids with Asperger syndrome usually find learning to ride a bike difficult?

Any ideas on the approximate percentage of 10 year olds with Asperger syndrome who cannot ride a bike?

It's a spectrum. As with anything relating to Aspergers / Autism, some will have problems and others won't. I did have problems; but my situation is far more complex.

Who would have done such a specific study?

I have read about difficulties kids with Asperger syndrome have learning to ride a bike many times in books and websites but I have no idea how true or exaggerated it is.

Most 10 to 16 year olds with Asperger syndrome I have encountered over the years own a bike and can ride it.
