I'm currently in yr12 of six-form and I'm taking Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Latin. At the end of the year I am going to drop Physics because I am awful at it and no longer have any passion left for the subject. I also have a pass at a level 3 psychology diploma and a D in additional maths that I took with my GCSE's.

I have already done one weeks work experience in a veterinary surgery and have two more surgery weeks and three animal shelter weeks planned for the next 6 months. I also volunteer at my friends stable some weekends.

What do you think my chances are of getting into a uni and do you think it would be worth me taking a maths a level course outside of school??

Check the universities websites to see what they are looking for in a candidate i.e particular grades in specific subjects in GCSE and A level

Everyone has a chance of getting into any course meaning that you have a chance of getting into the course that you want to be in no matter how big or small it is. Its all about if you have the passion and sheer determination to strive forward into this which im sure you have

    Good luck
