Hi everyone! I applied for ppe, law and international relations for Durham and law for Newcastle and northumbria on January 13th. I have received an acknowledgement email but still nothing yet, should I contact the universities?

No, I think wait because you only sent it in January. Contact them at the end of this month or early next month

I applied around a similar time. Why would you contact the university if you haven't got an offer from them, could they have lost the application or something?

If they have lost the application it would come through on Track to say you have been rejected by such and such university. Emails will tell you that you have a notification on Track whether it is an offer made, an interview, a rejection etc. You have to go on to Track to see what has changed

So there's no reason to contact the university?

    Hi Serena,

No need to worry Our Law School receives over 1500 applications each year, most of them in December and January. The team are processing them as quickly as possible, but it usually takes around 6 weeks for a decision to be made at this time of year.

If you haven't heard by the end of Feb, feel free to drop us a PM (with your full name, UCAS ID, and course(s) you applied for) and ask us to check on the status of your application.
