Would having retaken A levels hinder my chances of university with an Access course??

I am thinking about applying to an access course recently but I have retaken my A levels. AS three times and A2 twice and they weren't the best grades. Would my retakes hold me back from getting into university with the access course?

Retaking is not a bad thing if it's one off but the number of times you've retaken both levels is worrying. Maybe contact the unis and ask?
