Is grade 8 equivalent to an A* ? If so then I strongly recommend that you do every single past paper in Maths atleast TWICE. I did all the past papers about 2/3 times each. I made basic notes on each maths topic and used them when revising. Study regularly, so I mean for 7 days of the week, you should revise maths for atleast 4 of the days. When there's a month left till exams make sure you do atleast an hour of maths each day. By doing this I managed to get an A*. I don't know if this will work for everyone but it definitely worked for me. Hope this helps, good luck!

I just did a past paper a few days before hand and hoped for the best, you shouldnt have much issue getting an a 8/9 in maths (Got an A* doing this which is roughly an 8 afaik?). Its subjects like english you have to watch out for... :^_^:

Practice as much as you can. As well as past papers, there are a lot of CGP books for the new exams with practice papers, questions and a guide book for understanding things. I use these and the questions are very good. Get the level 9 book as well even if you're only aiming for a grade 8 because the questions in that span from grade 7 to 9 so by using this you'll get more confident with the higher level questions.
