    hi everyone!

I need some ideas to study for an exam. I try flashcards and mindmaps but they don't seem to help me when it comes to past papers. I have autistic spectrum disorder so it does it take a while for somethings to stick in my head

Could you either comment or message me some tips please?!?!

If you can find the past papers online, it might be useful to work through them directly? Depending on the subject, you could even just jot down ideas on how you would answer the questions and then look at the mark scheme to see if you are on the right lines. It might help you to pick up on what it is you are expected to know and how to answer the questions.

If flashcards and mindmaps don't help, you could try doing a 'brain dump' - just scribble everything you can remember onto a piece of paper, then looking at where the gaps are, then finding out how to fill them in. Maybe they don't help because you don't understand the material you're trying to remember? If so, Google is your friend! That, or ask a teacher to go over it.

Maybe try drawing pictures to help you to remember information rather than just writing it down? In an exam, recalling the doodles might lead you to the information. If that doesn't help, you could try fitting the facts to the beat of a song?

In the end, though, try not to worry too much! The fact that you are searching for new ways to study is great, and you're sure to figure out the methods that work for you soon. Good luck!
