Immediate Tinder turn offs? Watch

Just browsing through Tinder now, haven't been on for ages and I'm reminded why.

For me, SUCH a turn off is when the guy seems to think he'll attract women by saying "recently bought my own house", or "I'm not like any other 23 year old, I have my own house".

I'm sorry, but why the hell would that actually impress a girl? You think girls are so shallow and vapid that they'll find that attractive?

I mean yes some may like it, maybe they'll think it means the guy is mature and has his **** together. But imo you've just completely undone all that by feeling the need to announce it to the world.

Sorry, I just had to vent after seeing one two many.

What immediately turns you off on Tinder?

    1. Bad spelling

    2. The phrase "how's u?"

    3. Aggressive statements like "if ur the type of guy that {insert as appropriate} then I'm not ur girl so run along little boy and find some other bimbo to chase"

    4. Whining statements like "just wana find sum1 who loves me 4 me is that 2 much to ask? ready 2 give up on this"

    5. A general air of smugness that gives the impression "I'm likely to think I'm too cool for you". Dating sites should be about giving single people the option to meet other single people, see how you get on and if you aren't compatible then you can still respect each other. Some people give the impression that they secretly think of themselves as superior to most people that will be on a dating site and will enjoy the process of judging and rejecting people along the way to finding someone they like.

When I used tinder the one thing that made me instantly go nope (apart from not finding them hot) was when the girl had a bio that said something along the lines of "I'm a b!tch and I know it". Like yeah great mate thanks for telling me you're a **** before I've swiped right, that's sure to seal the deal right?

    Morons.

    I have one though: when their first message is something crude. I woke up to this lovely gem on Christmas Day 2015 ;

    Oh god.

Like seriously why the hell do they think that'll work? I had a guy once say "fancy a rub en". And when I asked him whether that line ever works, he said "yeah but not on stuck up c.nts like you."

    What a charmer

I didn't think that was particularly crude either

Pretty much all been said, but also when they have no picture of them on their own, how am I supposed to know which one you are? Or when you can't see their face, what are you hiding?!?

Worst one I ever saw "prefer girls who used to be mingers so then at least they have a personality".

And then he proceeded to call himself an "egalitarian"

Oh, also noticed recently people matching, you go to see who it is and they have unmatched! Kinda makes you feel a bit meh! Also, when they message and expect you to immediately message back. I hadn't been on in a few days, logged on to a few messages all sent within an hour, then a couple hours later a torrent of abuse some of which included 'you obviously think you're so much better than me you stuck up *****. I wouldn't want to meet someone like you anyway, you clearly think you're better than me, ignoring my messages'. Um, cheers mate, don't particularly want to meet you either now!
