1. Beautiful paper, much less tricky than last years, gl to everyone else with fp1 on friday
2. (Original post by BCNOF)
yes
I got that too!
3. (Original post by BCNOF)
I got 1/16 root 2
Same
4. Roll on the C2 next Wed, hope it goes well...
5. What did you get for the solutions of the quadratic using y = 2x ?

I got y = 1/2 and 8 so x = -1 and 3
6. For question 2, I had 1/8 root 2, and I went over various times so I was fairly confident it was right, if it isn't then hopefully I get method marks, all in all after retaking this year paper was much better!
7. I thought it would be really easy so I did little revision, I'm pretty sure I ****ed up half of the questions lol.
Going to have to get an A in C2 and M1 if I want a decent overall grade.

Congrats on sitting the paper, those of you who are at the time of me writing this post anyway...

How did it go guys? How does it compare to last year's paper? What grade/mark do you think you've achieved? What questions puzzled you the most??

Make sure you voice your opinion on this exam using the poll on this thread!
Much better than last year's paper! Still struggled on a few things like there was a question similar to...

Q) if and show that

Something in that format anyway, I can't remember the actual numbers of a, b and c. Luckily that part of the question was only 2 marks, I managed to work out the rest of the question where you actually had to solve the values of from . Just had to use the that was given in the previous part
9. Found two mistakes in my answers YEET but also answered the sum of the arithmetic series as if the difference kept on increasing ! Yikes !
10. That was so easy!! Defo an A Finished it in 35 mins and asked to leave but I couldn't lol
