An Israeli man who applied to go to a school in Canada called the Island School of Building Arts was rejected because he's Israeli. They said to him, "We don't allow Israelis into our school. You are banned"
Here's a quote from the owner;
This regressive idiot disgusts me. He's so profoundly ignorant, how could he possibly think that a UN resolution requires him to ban all Israelis? I mean, that's clearly contrary to Canadian law that prohibits discriminating against someone on the basis of their national origin or race. His comment also reflects the irritating tendency amongst people who are completely clueless about the law to consider themselves knowledgeable and make sweeping statements that "The law is X" when actually they don't have a clue.On Tuesday, the owner of the school confirmed there was a restriction on students from Israel because he thought ISBA would be breaking the law by accepting them.
“Well it was a UN resolution by the security council that was done just last December,” James Mitchell said. “The law was condemning that it was illegal to build on occupied land in Israel.”
Anti-Israeli xenophobia and anti-Jewish racism seems like the "acceptable" bigotry these days (though for many on the alt-reich, they're setting their own standards for various forms of hatred becoming "acceptable" )

Just trying to hide behind the UN as a reason for their anti Semitic bigotry smh.
I wonder how the people that normally accuse OP of being a biased lefty for not showing outrage when it's Jewish people being discriminated against etc etc will react to this thread 🤔

it is no shock that antisemitism is still very much alive and well. In fact by some estimations it is actually on the rise here in the UK.

No different to universities across Europe and North America banning Iranian students from certain university programmes purely because of the (formerly applicable) UNSCRs against Iran.
But yes, clear racism on the part of the "owner" of the school (why does the school have an "owner" who decides admissions?).
