24- 3 paid jobs so far, suspect that number will increase over time as my sector is one in which people tend to move ship a lot. Also had 4 voluntary roles.

    How come?
First job was gone because my commitment to the role was questionable.
Second job, entered into it knowing full well of how I lost the first but then came across some dodgy dealings within the company and was fired for making someone aware of those dealings; they even forced a gagging order on me (which the government says is illegal if used to cover up genuine lawbreaking activity)

Three permanent jobs. First one was 3 years spent in retail whilst at uni, second was a graduate position for 18 months until I was made redundant and the third is another graduate role that I will be starting in 2 weeks.

Also had 3 temp jobs to plug employment gaps, as well as voluntary work such as London 2012 Olympics & Sport Relief.

So I'm currently a fresher and I'm in my 3rd job at the moment but was wondering how many jobs other people have had, after reading that most Britons will swap jobs every 5 years or so
EDIT: On my 8th, as I have just been to an interview today and got the job.
