statistics coursework

hi guys,

i am confused as to what i have to do for my coursework. how do you collect/sample your data using i.e. systematic sampling, cluster sampling, my data is from the national archives on life expectancy. do i need to sample this data or has that been done by someone else

You are okay to use data previously sampled by others but you should comment on the sampling method. If the data you have received is a sample then I would use that and write about the possible advantages/disadvantages of their sampling method.
