    Hello!

I was just wondering if anyone can help me. I am hoping to enrol onto an Open University - BA Hons in Primary Education in October this year. But I was just wondering if anyone knows if I will get sny extra help as a single parent. I am currently working and live with my ex partner, we are going through a break up so I am hoping by the time I start in October I will be living alone with my little boy. I also am hoping to quit my job so I can study full time.

Does anyone know if there is any extra help out the financially wise if I am a single parent studying an Open University course?

    Thank you

As yet, open university is only considered part time so no loans are available, why not study at a brick uni?

You may be entitled to benefits as a single parent. You'll certainly keep your child benefits, regardless of your situation as a student.
