I'm practicing interview questions and came across this one to see how you think out of the box:

You’ve been given an elephant. You can’t give it away or sell it, what would you do with the elephant?

The first thing that came into my mind was that i could kill it and sell the tusks which isn't a nice thing to do (and nor would I actually do it if i had an elephant) or say to an interviewer.

    Any suggestions?

Recreate ancient general Hannibal's crossing of the Alps with war elephants and attempt to capture Rome.

    Rent it out for weddings/events

    Donate to a zoo

It depends what kind of character you are trying to show

I would abandon it and notify an animal protection agency of it's location.

I would ask where I am and where the elephant is that is in my possession. Then I would either contact a zoo or try to get it to India/Africa so it can live in freedom.

I'd keep it and I would try to make the elephant as intelligent as humans by teaching it.

    I guess an entrepreneurial character?
Renting it out seems like a good answer
