I checked Gradcafe and apparently, last year IR people got the news around March 28-29. We may have one more week of desperate waiting ahead of us.

Thanks for checking, endless waiting.
Did you phone the department before

No, I did not call the department at all. It's not as if they are going to tell me my decision over the phone. So, might as well wait and chew my fingernails off.

Haha! I have read about the Trinity-Balliol enmity too. :colone: I was considering both colleges. Then, there was a recent silly Indian movie which was shot in Trinity and I found the movie so ridiculous that I decided to go in favour of Balliol. Crazy reason but I had to choose one way or the other.

Ooh what film was that? It can't be often that Hindi/Bollywood type films use Oxford quads as a setting??.

It's this dumb comedy called 'Desi Boyz'. I think it was one of the first Hindi films ever shot there and it was terrible. They shot a dance sequence around the circular domed building (which I believe is called the Radcliffe Camera) and some scenes were shot in the area around Trinity.

19th? :K: I won't be surprised if it's more likely to be the 29th. I have even stopped panicking now and adopted a classic que-sera-sera approach.

Bollywood dancing around the RadCam? Sounds hysterical!! I might go look for the film; it'd be a nice change from Brideshead, Inspector Morse et al.

Haven't watched the film adaptation of Brideshead Revisited but I can assure you that this one is VERY different from Inspector Morse at least.

Most certainly, although I am waiting to hear back from one other application I have made... And even if I had the option, I'm pretty sure Oxford is where I'd go :P What course are you studying?

Surprised that they are dancing on the grass.I got told off by one of the guys when i stepped on the grass few weeks back when i went to oxford as a visitor. It would have been heartbreaking for them to let the movie crew walk on the grass
