An aeroplane is flying on a straight horizontal course at a speed of 200kmh−1 at a height of 100m above the top of the cylindrical funnel of a ship which is at rest. A small bomb is released from the aeroplane so that it enters the funnel. The funnel is vertical and of diameter 7.00m
Neglecting the effects of air resistance, find the greatest depth s below its top at which the funnel can be hit by the bomb. (Assuming it does not collide with the funnel and therefore there is no impulse from the side of the funnel).
This was set for me on isaac physics. Ive tried resolving forces but got the wrong answer. Any help would be much appreciated

What is your diagram and what have you tried?

For the greatest depth, what is the boundary condition on the ball as it enters the funnel?
