I wear contact lenses daily. I put them on at around 7pm and take them off at 5pm. Is it safe to keep them on for 10 hours? I've searched online and it said that 10-12 hours is fine.

I'm just wondering how long other people use them for a day, just to give me some reassurance. If you wear contact lenses, can you please tell me how long you have them on for a day?

I wear mine for 13 hours easily when I'm at work. I've occasionally slept in them and never had a problem either.

I've left mine in for over 16 hours and the only consequence were slightly dryer tireder eyes. I switched to moisturising lenses and haven't had an issue since.

As long as you're feeling comfortable in them, you'll be fine. Try to avoid sleeping in them because that isn't a pleasant feeling at all.
