I've got my fitness test coming up fairly soon. I can easily pass the fitness test when running outside but for some reason, really struggle on a treadmill. Not sure if it's because I can't maintain the same speed very well.
    But anyways
I was wondering if during the test, I'll be able to change the speed or do I have to set it to 1 speed and stick to it? I'm not intending on walking during the test, just switch between a fast run/sprint.
    Any help would be appreciated!

You can do whatever you like regarding speed, as long as you hit the 2.4km in 11.11. (or whatever your time is)

As said above, you are in control of the speed.

Level 13.5 should get you just under the required time. I'd try running it at level 14.0, that way if you are getting tired toward the end you can drop it down a level and know you're safe.

Good luck with it and don't worry too much. Put yourself in a happy place, don't look at the screen and just keep running. 11 minutes will be over with before you know it. Adrenaline will keep you going faster and further than you have gone on any practice runs too.
