I failed my GCSE English Language last year with a "D" while I got a "C" in year 10 mocks... Now I'm totally confused going through with 3 different teachers which tell me to do a range of different things sometimes contradicting each other!!! I honestly don't know where to start with getting to a "C" grade in the proper exam this year so I can finally move to a Level 3 course,

Is there a different English teacher that you can talk to that's reliable or advice? Or your head of English department?

Do you know what your exam board for English Language is? You could go on the website and then print out the specification for that subject, that tells you everything you need to know and do for your exam. So you can have a look at that when the teachers are being confusing and contradicting.

You could also try using online websites and youtube videos. This is a very good youtube channel for English: https://www.youtube.com/user/mrbruff/playlists

Good luck!
